How the list evolves: additions, promotions, and removals—sometimes with a short explanation when something leaves under review.

    • Promoted LingoPut to recommended resources for Polish, with an editorial note that the catalog is small and the project appears largely inactive.

    • Removed Dong Chinese from under-review resources for Chinese. Despite listing more than 2,500 media items, the library is less focused than Lazy Chinese’s dedicated CI catalog (much of it is songs, TV clips, and grammar explainers rather than structured comprehensible input), and it offers less pure CI video than Vidioma’s thousands of level-tagged uploads from independent creators. The product is primarily a vocabulary and character-study app (tone trainer, handwriting drills, interactive subtitles), and third-party reviews recommend it as a supplement rather than a primary input path. Lazy Chinese and Vidioma remain under review.
    • Removed Actually Understand Vietnamese from under-review resources for Vietnamese. Langiri (our existing recommendation) kept the edge with a larger and more actively growing library, built-in hour tracking, a faster publishing schedule, and content that supports both major dialects rather than focusing primarily on the South. Actually Understand Vietnamese remains a worthwhile resource for learners specifically targeting Southern Vietnamese, but it is no longer a contender to replace Langiri on this list.
